What’s in God’s Garden, is Good and Fights Chronic Disease!
Do you ever doubt, what’s in the garden is good? If God pronounces it good, do you ever ask yourself, “Who is right here, me or God?” Of course not. We understand God is all powerful, all knowing, and always present. Yet, in preferring the food of our world over God’s provision in the garden, we are claiming we know more. We’re also missing out on ways to fight chronic disease.
Now, before you rise up in indignation, I’ll confess I am guilty of it too. So, I’d like to remind you, and myself, to look at our daily choices. Convenience of processed food and busy lifestyles create opportunities for unhealthy choices and decrease chances of battling chronic disease… For instance, inflammation and pain! We grab the easiest items available to meet our hunger needs. After a while, our taste-buds adjust to that way of life and we find fresh items less appealing.
The good news is those taste-buds can be retrained! Although, many people are not brought up with garden food, they can still learn to embrace it’s goodness. God’s word says:
The earth produced vegetation: seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:12
Since we can trust in the power of God’s word and have scientific proof of all the benefits of His provision, we too can transform our thoughts and taste buds for the better. This is the beginning of fighting chronic disease. When we experience the miraculous changes to my our own taste buds by eating from his garden, we can help our families experience it too! It then becomes exciting to explore all the varieties, spices, and combinations of the garden to enhance our health.
Not only that, but many items are conveniently packaged by God himself. We can indulge in crisp apples, succulent grapes and berries, as well as tangy mineral packed greens. All the things that help us overcome daily symptoms and help us fight chronic disease. Like head and muscle aches, joint pain, indigestion, and even fatigue. May we be a people who trust God’s goodness and provision in sustaining us body and soul.
