Paleo and Pilates 30 Day Challenge

Are you ready for a summer challenge? There is no better time to enjoy the Paleo and Pilates plan for better health than July! The berries are bright and bountiful and the vegetables are too! We can enjoy cups of fresh or lightly steamed vegetables alongside clean meats while enjoying our regular summer activities.

A short 20-minute Pilates video thrown in there will help strengthen our core and give us more muscle tone, too. Did you know that a strong core can help reduce chronic low back pain? It’s true! There are several randomized controlled trials to indicate building the muscles around the spine can reduce pain. (1)

How about that? Not only do we have gorgeous produce from all over the nation to feed our bodies good nutrition, but we also have vast resources for exercise to build our strength.

Our beautiful and bountiful land reminds me so much of the descriptions of the promised land in the Bible. I often wonder why God put me here, of all places, and the more I travel and explore this gorgeous place on earth, the more I appreciate our Creator for His kindness and generosity.

Please take a moment to read the similarities of our great nation and the promised land and let it fill your heart with wonder and gratitude, too.

For a short 30 days I will be avoiding the wheat, barley, bread, and honey this good land offers in an attempt to remove some of the “celebration” pounds! 

LOL, yes! When you’re over 50, still eat healthy, but indulge for those celebrations, it does add on the pounds pretty quickly. So, with the transforming power of Pilates for strength and Paleo eating for a quick way to trim down. . . I’m starting the 30-Day Paleo and Pilates Challenge!

Paleo and Pilates Basics

Paleo eating is basically vegetables (minus the nightshades of potatoes, peppers, eggplant), clean meats, fruit, quinoa, nuts and seeds. (No legumes/beans/dairy/grains). 

You are not required to remove the nightshades if you don’t have a food sensitivity to those items. You will still see results. But remember, the best results come with following the plan to the letter.

Two Simple Steps to Get Started

As with all my health plans, I want this one to be simple for you to do.

Therefore, there are two steps to get started:

1. Get on YouTube, click on the link here for Lilly Sabri’s 30 Day  Pilate’s Challenge and Like/Subscribe. **As you are often told, these challenges are not for everyone, you must know your limitations and check with your doctor before starting any exercise and nutrition plan. **
2.  Use the AI prompt in the graphic below to find the perfect 30-day plan for your age and health status. 
3. Be sure to check with your health care provider to see if it is ok for you to do this challenge.
